NATIONAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

The incumbent will report to General Manager Modern Trade and be responsible for Assisting the GM in managing Sales strategies and activities by coordinating and developing Key Account Managers (KAM) to ensure the achievement of business objectives:

Sales fundamental:

  1. Achieve account sales objectives and manage D&A and Business Development budget efficiently.
  2. Monitor account /channel/ area performance to ensure that objectives are being achieved in accordance with strategies.
  3. Modern Trade focus handling and coverage
  4. Focus channel & account coverage: MT KA
  5. Prepare modern trade annual promo plan through account plan by account for separate categories.
  6. Drive and manage customer service level
  7. Secure and monitor Modern Trade KA account receivable

Win in Modern Trade Key Account:

  1. Manage, supervise and coordinate modern trade team through customer and Key Account Management development
  2. Develop and Join business plan, negotiate trading terms and conduct BR together with KAM by account regularly
  3. Implement championship selling in dealing with customer
  4. Customer segmentation (win win with winning customer) to differentiate growth and budget spending.
  5. Assists team, coordinate and conduct trade marketing and consumer promo initiatives to increase business share
  6. Ensure effective implementation of programs ie. Trade marketing through a highly organized feedback and measurement system.
  7. Return on spending (ROPS) implementation and increase the percentage portion of performance budget
  8. Synergize the business models with other business process re-design project models

In-stores presence excellence:

  1. Drive Product Shelf Share Leadership – continue to drive shelf share.
  2. Maximize and complete 100% MSL and < 5% shelf out of stock
  3. SKU rationalization – right SKUs mix and slow moving SKUs rationalization – mainly in Mini Market chain (Alfamart & Indomart)
  4. Expedite NPD listing process to drive and leverage distribution and growth
  5. On time NPD listing across all accounts
  6. Merchandising standard – roll out standard planogram implementation, SPG/MD standardization, Brand Blocking and Best Look Merchandising.
  7. Accelerate more of brand blocking to 300 stores in FY 10
  8. Rationalize non effective SPGs to Mobile MDs
  9. Organize merchandisers and promotion girls in effort to improve off take and store presence

Major Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent from respected / reputable University
  2. Min. 10 years of experience in the sales area in FMCG sector, including about 3 years on national key account management position
  3. Good understanding of financial principles and implications, particularly in line with Sales and Marketing impacts
  4. Good leadership, result orientation, good networking and foresight skill
  5. Good proficiency in spoken and written English
  6. Very strong leading and interpersonal skill
  7. Be able to hand in hand with Trade Marketing to set up trade promo or big campaign for all products in monthly or yearly.
  8. Experience in building long-term relations with clients
  9. Creative problem solving skills
