CHIEF MECHANIC
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years working experience as mechanic in lingerie factory with not less than 6 years at Supervisory / Managerial level.
- Experience in Lingerie / Underwear factory is preferable.
- Good communication skill, fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Hardworking, trustworthy, quick response, knows how to interact with different people and attentive to details.
- Good at inventory and knowing of all machine types and parts.
- Has knowledge and ability in making attachments / folders.
- Good knowledge of different fabric types and needle types.
Key Responsibilities / Job Description:
- To lead a team of mechanics and attend to all repair and maintenance works for sewing machines.
- Troubleshooting and Repair of Manual and Automatic / Computerized Sewing Machines.
- To train the Junior Mechanic including the design of training method and implementation of continuous training programs.
- Work with production to preplan machine lineup for new styles.
- Minimize / reduce downtimes, broken needles and inventory of spare parts.
- Encoding and Programming of Computer Numerical controlled Sewing Machines.
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance on a daily and weekly basis.
